Airport

After you go through customs, there is a hallway you enter; we recommend ignoring all salespeople in that hallway and just going outside where the shuttle for your car rental company should be.

Road to Todos Santos

When you get on the main road to Todos Santos from Cabo, you will drive on a major highway, but when you turn off into the road for the condos, it is all dirt roads. Don't worry, you are going the right way. We recommend exploring all the dirt roads in Todos Santos! They all lead somewhere magical.

Todos Santos

Yes, there is still a lot of ongoing development in the area. Don't let that scare you from driving all around town!

Rental Cars

Even though there are dirt roads, a small car will be just fine. Mike and I drive all over Baja with a tiny car. It is a bit bumpy, but it will get to your destination.

Passport

Just a reminder, you need a passport to get into Mexico from the United States! If you do not have a passport, we recommend getting one at least 5 months in advance.

Safety

The southern Baja area is generally very safe and Mike and I have never had any issues when traveling there. The drive to Todos is also very safe.  Of course, you should always use your judgment, but generally, Todos Santos is a safe, small, and magical town. But look out for the goats and cows on the roads! They will pop out of nowhere!
