Mike and Andrea met in 2016 at the University of Iowa College of Law. Andrea was just starting her law school adventure, and Mike was in his last year. What started as a fun evening at Field House in Iowa City turned into eight years and many adventures. Some would say she dated him for his law school outlines, but really, it was all about that wonderful personality. 

 

Their love only grew as they started their careers in Des Moines, Iowa, and then took a big risk, packed up their belongings, and moved to beautiful Colorado. In Colorado, the two have hiked many mountains alongside their goofy boxers Frank and Maggie. Every weekend since moving to Colorado they have found a challenge or an adventure to explore. 

 

After seven and a half years, Mike took Andrea on a long walk on the beach in Malibu, California. As is typical, Andrea would not stop talking as Mike tried to tell her how much he loved her. But in a split second of silence, he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. 

 

And the rest is history....
